Movement for Cellists
In lessons we often talk about how to use the body most efficiently as we play the cello. On this page I will provide some resources to better understand how the body is actually constructed, with pictures of the relevant bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles, and links to sources that explain how they function.
List of pages:
- Muscles of the back, arms and hands (this page, below)
- Ligaments of the back, arms and hands (link will be provided)
- Bones of the back, arms and hands (link will be provided)
- Links to further reading (here)
If you have any additional resources you'd like to add to these pages, please feel welcome to do so!
